You didn't advise who's product you ordered and received.  Gary Goers has the right product or at least he has for all of my restos.  
 
Are you basing your comments on the existing striping?  If so are you sure what is in the car is correct?  Maybe what you got is correct but just looks to small.

I'm replacing the weather-stripping on the trunk of the 300B.    What I ordered (and recv'd) is way undersized and won't work.  It's marked correctly as for the 300B but isn't like original in size/fit.

Any suggestions on where to get quality weather-stripping?    I'll be redoing the whole car and don't want to repeat this problem.
