Take a look at the disgraceful, even embarrassing, lineup of Indy Pace Cars
from 1973 through 2003.  Virtually without exception they are underpowered,
butt ugly, or both.   It makes a little more understandable that it's
difficult to get the later generations interested in our collector car
hobby.
