Raphael, Removal of plugs if they are leaking or you have a totally clogged passage, only as a last resort. Other wise leave them alone. If the carburetors were working and the engine was running fine before, you can overhaul them yourself. I don't trust most carburetor shops. I have successfully rebuilt or overhauled my own carburetors over the years. Rick

Subject: [Chrysler300] 300 C carbs
Thank you for your answers concerning my 300c carbs.
The link http://www.carburetormanuals.com/products/carbmanuals/CM448.html#LinkTarget_3774 doen't work ,too bad because I 'm sure it would answer my questions
about identification.
I'm wondering if it's a good idea to remove all the carbs plugs to have
them cleaned, I found new plugs available through parts suppliers but
I'm afraid of leaks when everything is back together. Does any member
allready done this ?
I cannot give my carbs to a carburetor shop here in France because they
don't have any knowledge about Carter WCFB and I don't want to send them
away to some carburetor specialist in the USA unless I could trust them
200%.
