Howdy....
Check to see if your front wheel bearings are adjusted properly.  As a teen, I did a front brake job on my 64 300K.  First time out after the work, I hit the brakes .   .   . And the front end shook fairly badly.  I got back home, discovered I had about 2-3 full turns of the spindle bearings left.  Tightened 'em, got back in, no problem.
