You  are right, although a misstake to launch this info  on the list server. 
Sorry about that.   If I calculate correctly current price for gas 95 oktan 
leadfree (involve 15%  etanol so average consumption goes up due to the  etanol 
involvement) is now approx USD 6,99 /gallon if I calculate  correctly  (Price 
is approx SEK 12,00/litre and USD/SEK is  about 6,50 and a gallon is 3,78 
litre) 
The  politicians wants to raise with another USD 0,40/gallon and tax only. 
Still  like to run the old brute, but probably will be put in jail for it if 
these  idiots remain in power.
