The VIN was reported as 8443 189668 which is a correct K VIN and new to our records. Again, this hasn't been checked against the S O number. There has been no check of the punch card, so we don't know the original options on the car.  
   
  The carb is correct looking  AFB 4-barrel for the 360 HP 413, sans air cleaner. The nose appears to be from a '64 New Yorker as the headlight bezels and grille are wrong for a 300.  It also appears the New Yorker rocker trim was installed as in my experience the K trim is much thinner if there at all.  The K had so many options it wouldn't surprise me if power brakes was one of them.  I don't know enough about either the brake options or lower trim options to be sure about either.

Hi All,

There is a K convertible on eBay auction 200064271466. The VIN has been
checked and it is a legitimate letter car. It is also new to our registry,
so it is a "found car". At a current price of $735, you can imagine it
needs a lot of work, but it is a good opportunity for those of you who want
to get in on the ground floor for a letter car convertible. Other
interesting features are the factory A/C and white interior. The car is in
Alalbama. 

If you can put up with a bit less of a fin, you have just saved yourself
$199,265 over the more expensive earlier cars. :-)
