I don't think trunk mounted units were an option in 61. Can anyone enlighten us ?

This A/C unit looks like the one I have in my dual air conditioned 300E. It 
mounts under the package tray inside the trunk.The freon lines run along the 
inside of the frame under the car. If your G came equipped with this 
originally it might be something you'd want to reinstall. If not, I'm sure 
there has to be someone needing it as they weren't common, at least not in 
300's.

Can someone identify the air conditioner unit in the pictures on this page?

It was laying in the trunk of a 1961 Chrysler 300G I bought. Can somebody 
identify and/or use it? Presume it is a trunk-mounted unit, but it is brand 
new, never used.
I don't have a clue on how to mount it and don't want to anyhow.
