In one of my former lives I was a Quality Assurance Representative for the
Defense Logistics Agency out of San Francisco. One of my duties was to
inspect shipping services at local packaging companies.
One of them was "Trans-Pack". There are several around the Silicon Valley.
I saw them build boxes around complete motorcycles and ship them out the
door whole.
I don't know about prices, but it is another source to look into.
