I know someone has answered this question before but I have lost the
answer. What are the widths of the two pin stripes and the distance
between them for a 300k. I am referring to the stripping that runs the
length of the side an a little around the front and back.
Thanks
Van Lennep

Hi,
Our 300C Coupe - Copper Bronze, Ser # 3N571325, has a black vinyl
lining
in the troughs under the electric seat rails. Later production models are:
Wayne Graefen's 300C Handbook, under Trimming - Power Seat Well Covers. ""
Chrysler calls this the "electric seat adjuster track floor pan well
cover."
It is the black natural grain injection molded vinyl piece in the indented
area of the floor where the power seat is bolted down. Its borders overlap
the edges of the carpet..""
Our car is all original - We purchased it in July 1958.

Hi members; would like to thank all the members that answered my call for
help concerning parts needed for my '62 300 sport. You guys really came
through, I've been able to buy/trade for just about everything I needed to
get it back on the road. Still could use a decent steering wheel and
dashpad(mine are toast) but I know those will be tough ones. The motor
ended
up being bad(frozen up) but I bought a 413 with tranny from a '63 Imperial
thats a runner to get me up and running. Will keep you posted as to the
progress and thanks again, larri

I don't know if the Cs and the Ds are the same, but for my D I bought some
new power seat well covers (black moulded plastic) from Gary Goers a few
years ago. The fit and work just fine. McTaggart

has a nicely written article regarding Chrysler's left hand threaded lug
nuts and explaining why the practice was dropped and where it came back
too!
Good reading.

So the guy has not seen application where left hand threads were required!
He should to talk to G.E. or Prat & Whitney or Westinghouse.-Rolls Roice
ect. When you are assembling turbines whit rotating masses that way over
800 lbs you torque the nuts up to 3000 lbs foot and stretch them 100
degres. And yes some are left hand. The torque and stretch are called out in
the book and you better pay attenshion.Feel free to forward to list.Jim

$42,900...................in #3 condition!!

Can't see how a photo would help much. The real importance is the bolt
pattern and the wheel diameter and the width. Since our cars all have
full
wheel covers, provision for dog dish hub caps or not is immaterial. Many
Ford products have the same bolt pattern and would work if they were 14 x
6.5. Use of Ford lug nuts is recommended on Ford wheels so that the angle
of
the wheel to nut matchs. Mopar and Ford use different angled nuts to
match
the lug hole angle on the wheels.
