That looks like a good save and a good buy.  

 

Would you have a picture of the Body Plate and/or a club analysis of the
VIN?  I have a little calculator for VIN if SO date is known or vice-versa.
Plugging in 107368, I come up with 9/8/22.  If close, that car is
celebrating its 58th birthday.  Long may it live.

 

This car was probably scheduled for assembly in the first week or so of
September, 1963.  If you have the SO date (and NUMBER) , it would be of
great assistance to me in tying down the relationship of VIN and SO in the
early weeks.

 

There are 15 other K’s with lower VIN’s in the old registry and it’s good
to see these elderly K’s being saved.

This is our K; it is known to the club and is on the club classified page
for less than we have in it to see if any club member is looking for a K
project.   Guessing by VIN it’s an early build.
